Marking and Warning Tapes. Tapes used in the power industry to mark underground power networks are produced in blue and red. BLUE for cables with a rated voltage below 1 kV, RED for cables with a rated voltage above 1 kV. Marking underground power networks with marking tapes is particularly important due to the significant risk to human life in the event of cable damage during earthworks. The colors and thickness of the tapes used to mark power networks comply with standards depending on the network’s rated voltage. The raw materials used in the production of these tapes ensure their highest quality and durability. YELLOW tapes are used to mark gas networks. Warning tape in WHITE-RED and YELLOW-BLACK is commonly used to fence off hazardous areas and earthworks. Warning tape is characterized by high durability and mechanical strength.
