Hermetic boxes have a wide range of applications in surface-mounted installations where a high degree of protection is required. The family of hermetic boxes consists of many variants, including boxes that differ in dimensions and methods of introducing wires into the interior of the box. They are characterized by a simple construction consisting of a base and a cover. The base comes in four variants: – version without weaknesses – version with weaknesses for glands – version with mounted flexible PE glands – version with membrane glands. Another component of the ’PH’ box is the cover, which comes in two or three heights. The base and cover are connected as a whole using screws made of a technical plastic resistant to tearing, ensuring a secure and corrosion-resistant connection. The box is equipped with a hermetic seal, machine-poured according to the latest technology, ensuring dust-tightness and a high degree of protection IP65. Additionally, covers were used as insulating and sealing elements to protect the protruding fastening parts from the electrical components located in the box. The box can also be equipped with a terminal strip, mounting plate, or DIN rail. The versions of height, color (designated color white – B), cable glands, and equipment are detailed and described in the tables presented below. Each “PH” box is designed to be sealed. The PH4 and PH5 versions may optionally have a plastic (perforated) mounting plate. The PH box is available in grey RAL7035 or white.
